Evaluating Laboratory Side-stream Membrane Bioreactor and Nanofiltration System for Treating Domestic Wastewater and Reuse

This paper presents Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) and Nanofiltration (NF) systems as alternative effective approaches for treatment reusing domestic sewage. The goal is to investigate the general performance of a membrane bioreactor nanofilteration ability satisfy water reuse requirements using quality index such total suspended solids (TSS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia (NH3). findings show that MBR system produces high-quality permeating water. TSS, COD NH3 rejection rates were 99%, 90.3%, 82.5% (on average). In addition, technology quite successful pre-NF treatment. We also evaluated how pressure temperature affect effectiveness NF removal TDS, COD, ammonia, flux. results showed applied has favorable impact on rate; however, feeding negative impact. temperature, in addition pressure, good influence flux system.
